Tomche Shabbos of Rockland County has been providing Shabbos and Yom Tov food packages to the Anyim (poor) of our community for more than 40 years. Late each Thursday night dozens of people gather at our warehouse to assemble large boxes of food containing chicken, fish, challah, grape juice, fruits & vegetables, eggs, and canned goods. Under the cover of darkness, volunteers then drive these Shabbos packages to struggling families’ homes where they are discreetly and anonymously left on their doorstep.
We remain dedicated to providing our assistance whenever these tragic situations occur. When faced with emergencies such as families without food, utility shutoffs, and evictions, we can only meet these challenges by means of your continued support.
